Out of Place

This piece comes from a project about feeling out of place. The darker, liminal space inspired background is used to contrast the deserted flowers in their pot. The composition is designed to make the viewer question both how they got there as well as illustrate how the flowers continue to thrive in a foreign, uncomfortable environment.

Oil on A0 Canvas, done using a pallet knife for a quicker, loser effect and texture.
