Contrast

This was the result of my investigation into Sarah Simblet. with the left side depicting a healthy plant, and the right the result of it being left to dry and die for a month.

Graphite was used to generate a smoother softer image for the alive plant, whilst ink and fine liner was used for the dead side, to create sharper harsher lines and contrast its living counterpart.

I was intrigued by natural forms and did some research into and around
Sarah Simblet, producing a quick
compositional copy.
